In addition to primary healthcare services, JLWA also specializes in behavioral healthcare. Over the last five years, we have developed six residential treatment programs for Indian youth in tribal and urban settings, including a 35-bed and 20-bed medical monitored facility.
The Round Valley Indian Health Center Yuki Trails Transitional Living Center (pictured here) is a 10-bed youth residential treatment center. We worked with the health center, tribe, and federal and county agencies to obtain $1.2 million in funding to develop this program. We developed the program polices, procedures, and forms; obtained state licensing; and secured operational funding.
