JLWA planned and developed a six (6) bed dual diagnosis residential treatment program
for American Indian youth. We planned all of the services, staffing, and budgets. We
also developed the policies and procedures, forms, and obtained a state license and rate
setting. JLWA Wrote the Statement of Qualification and was awarded a contract with the
County of Los Angeles, Department of Children and Family Services. The contract
allows the United American Indian Involvement to receive county level referrals and
funding.

We prepared a State Certification application to the California Department of Alcohol and
Drug Programs. The certification was granted and allows the United American Indian
Involvement to access state funding for its behavioral health services.
