JLWA worked with the Round Valley Indian Health Center, tribes, and federal and
county agencies to plan the Yuki Trails Transitional Living Center. JLWA obtained
$1.5 million in funding from four (5) different funding sources to develop this program.
The funding was used to construct a new building; conduct community-level planning;
and to develop policy and procedures, forms, and other materials to obtain state
licensing and rate setting. The program provides dual-diagnosis residential care for
American Indian youth who need substance abuse and mental health treatment
transitional care.
